Busselton Ironman & 70.3 Dec 2017
Great turn out by the Get Tri Fit Crew yet again. All of the crew finished and with some amazing results.
Was a shame the swim was cut due to a large fish sighting (shark) But hey a 180k Bike and 42.2k run all in the one day is a bloody top effort - well done all!!


Melbourne Marathon
Ok here we go for another crack at Melbourne. It has been a couple of years but the crew are back!!

When - October the 15th 2017 - save this date and get on board.

End of Aug and we have 26 ready to take on the 10k, 21.1k and 42.2k races


Get Fit Tas - Glenorchy fun run - wrap up

Wowzers We had 42 line up and take on the GFT fun run and as a coach/trainer/therapist I was sooo happy. Every one finished and in testing conditions not one complaint.
we managed two top three finishes and and two 4th placings so what a great day out.

Cadbury Marathon - wrap up
GFT was the proud sponsor of this year’s 10k road race. We had a great showing across all events with 89 clients in total.

There we some huge results and efforts. Many ran faster than ever before, some ran the whole way so whatever your goal was we hope you achieved it and had a blast.

Busselton Ironman
Massive efforts by Krystina, Jason, Mel, Sam, Ruth, Peter, Karen, Lauren, Belinda, Hayden and  Matt. A couple of these guys just missing spots at Kona.
Huge efforts and some massive PB's. Rest up and recover well.

Bruny Island Ultra
HUGE well done to Karina, Peter, Sam, Phil and everyone who did the Ultra. All did amazing times and very well deserved!!

All group sessions are no back outside. We are now back at the Regatta grounds starting at 6pm. We may be bringing in another bootcamp session on the Thursday and maybe Friday morning.

Great turn out from GFT. Amazing weekend away and some awesome results, with a 100% completion rate.The conditions were great and everyone had some great results!!

Sunshine Coast Ironman 70.3
Big congratulations to those who competed in the 70.3 and SMASHED it. Again 100% finish rate. Some huge personal goals ticked off. The word is that a few are no going onto do Busso full Ironman in December.

Ironman - Busselton

HUGE congrats to Krystina Ryan on completing the Busselton Ironman on the 7th of December. This was her first attempt and actually her first ever Triathlon. She did an amazing time 11hrs20min55sec
3.8k swim, 180k bike and 42.2k run. 
All this off only 7 months training WOW
Also a big thank you to 'Kempy" for being her support crew, awesome job!!

Great Ocean Road Marathon GORM 17th & 18th of May 2014

Massive effort by these three.  They took on the 45k course and smashed it!!! These three ticked all the box's in their preperation and although there were a few scary times along the way with injury etc they kept a positive attitude and did all the recovery needed after running for 6 hours!!
They ran some very impressive times for first timers which showed they were very consistant with their training.

Massive WELL DONE!!

23.06.2013 Get Fit Tas Running
The crew on the weekend had a crack at the Freycinet trail run for the third run of the Tassie Trail Running Series. There was a field of 101 runners, superb weather and the dolphins even put on a display for a few of our lucky runners!!Check out the Get Fit Tas facebook page for some pics.

12.6.2013 - Launceston Ten
WOW some great results from the Get Fit Crew!!!!  Massive PB's and some great results.  Big well done to those who ran.


Get Fit Tas Running group has been flying.  We have had some great results on the track and in some of the fun runs alround the country.  Well done to those who have just started running as you all have come such a long way in such a short period of time.


Toughmudder training Hobart Tasmania has really been ramping things up these past few weeks.  The 0333 session was great (tough) and now the big one in two weeks time... Four (4) hour session which will include a spin class, strength work, pool session and plenty of other fun stuff (as always a few suprises).

Saturday 25 May: Running training as usual, 8am-9am Domain Cross Roads. Check out the Group Calendar for details. There will be NO Tough Mudder Training after this session (hint: look at what's happening on Sunday).

Sunday 26 May: Kingston Beach 5km Fun Run and Walk followed by a 30 minute boot camp on the beach then catch up for coffee.

Race starts at 9am, we will post later in the week about a time and place to meet beforehand.

Whether you want to run, walk, job, bring the kids, push the pram, this is a really nice course, finishing on the beach. Loz will be waiting at the finish line to cheer us on, so anyone who can't/doesn't want to run, but doesn't want to miss out on the fun is more than welcome to join the cheer squad!!

Following the run we'll do a 30 minute boot camp session on the beach, for Tough Mudders and anyone else who wants to join in. Come prepared to have some fun, and bring a change of clothes for after the session :-)

Then we'll head off for a coffee and a catch-up, most likely at The Beach in Blackmans Bay, but we'll confirm location once we've got a feel for numbers. Please let Loz know if you're planning on joining us - give her a call or text on 0450 920 078, email at or post on our Facebook page.
